Heinrich Gisbert Rütjes

Heinrich (Hendricus) Gisbert (us) Rütjes (born November 4, 1811 in Emmerich ; † February 20, 1886 there ) was a German Catholic priest and politician.

Life

Rütjes was the son of the ferry ship Heinrich Rütjes and his wife Johanna Raab.

Rütjes attended high school in Kleve and then in Cologne. He then studied theology in Bonn and from 1835 in Münster, where he was ordained a priest on September 24, 1836. In 1836 he was assistant chaplain at the St. Anne's Church in Han, Kleve parish and from 1837 chaplain in Kalkar. From 1842 to 1844 he completed further studies in Ron and was awarded a Dr. theol. PhD. From 1846 to 1848 he was an officer in Kalkar and from 1847 pastor in Obermörmter. In 1881 he suffered a stroke and was incapacitated.

In 1850 he belonged to the Volkshaus of the Erfurt Union Parliament .
