Heinrich Gottfried Bauer (legal scholar, 1784)

Heinrich Gottfried Bauer (born May 21, 1784 in Leipzig ; † January 26, 1829 there ) was a German lawyer and university professor.

Life

Heinrich Gottfried Bauer was the lawyer of the same name (1733-1811). He attended the Nikolaischule in his hometown and studied law from 1802 to 1805. In 1811 he was promoted to Dr. jur. PhD. At the University of Leipzig he held numerous events on all legal topics. In 1820 he became an assessor at the local law faculty.

He has written numerous (Latin) writings.
