from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heinrich Groene was a German carver from Paderborn .

Groene created the southern side altar in the collegiate church of St. Petri in Fritzlar in 1685/86 , which represents the two apostles Simon Petrus and Paulus . The northern side altar, the so-called Trinity altar, is also attributed to Groene on the basis of the formal language. Finally, in 1696, he also made the church's pulpit.

In his hometown of Paderborn, Groene can be found in the Jesuit church , where, according to the rector's diary, he created the pulpit in 1704.
