Heinrich Hemme
Heinrich Hemme (born November 5, 1955 in Nordhorn ) is a German physicist, university professor at the FH Aachen and author.
Life
Hemme studied physics in Osnabrück from 1979 to 1984 and received his doctorate in this subject in 1987 with a thesis on anisotropic magneto-optical waveguides and their applications . From 1988 to 1993 he was a scientist in the research laboratories of the Philips company in Hamburg and Aachen . Since 1993 he has been a full professor at the FH Aachen . His main focus is on the field of integrated magneto-optics .
Heinrich Hemme is the author of numerous mostly popular scientific articles and books in the field of mathematics and physics. For example, he regularly writes the science column Cogito in the magazine Bild der Wissenschaft .
