Heinrich Kandl

Heinrich Kandl (born July 15, 1875 in Riegerschlag , Neuhaus district , Bohemia, † December 30, 1968 in Linz ) was an Austrian construction trade unionist.

Life

Heinrich Kandl was a member of the Linz municipal council (1923–1924 and 1931–1934) and from 1946 to 1959 he was president of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Labor . He resigned for a short time during the October strike in 1950 under the threat of a window lintel , but ultimately fulfilled his function until the age of 84. The Heinrich Kandl-Weg traffic area in Linz is named after Kandl.
