Heinrich Laurenz Reck

Heinrich Laurenz Reck († August 25, 1610 ) was Vicar General in Cologne .

Heinrich Laurenz Reck, who comes from Neuss , received his doctorate as Dr. theol., was dean at St. Georg (Cologne) from 1589 , became official in Neuss and was canon in Cologne from 1600. On July 6th, 1601 he was appointed by the coadjutor Ferdinand von Bayern as a member of the commission for the implementation of the Tridentine reforms, he had already been vicar general of the Archdiocese of Cologne since March 1st, 1600. At the same time official of the archdiocese, he was rector of Cologne University from 1607 to 1609, where he had been professor of the arts faculty from 1576, from where he moved to the law faculty in 1583.
