Arnold Middendorf

Arnold Middendorf (born April 4, 1867 in Feren, † January 5, 1930 in Cologne ) was official and provost of the Archdiocese of Cologne .

Life

On March 19, 1891 Brixen for priests ordained , Middendorf was born on November 1, 1894 military chaplains in Spandau, 20th June 1896 Garrison pastor in Spandau, on October 15, 1901 Division pastor in Potsdam, on April 13, 1914 Military rector and the 13th February 1915 Field Pastor of the Western Army.

After the Cologne Dompropstei became vacant , Middendorf applied in Berlin for the position of Cologne Cathedral Provost, which he was awarded and was appointed as such on October 23, 1917.

After his meritorious work during the vacancy after the death of the Cologne Archbishop Felix Cardinal von Hartmann , Archbishop Karl Joseph Schulte appointed him Vicariate General in 1918. Raised Apostolic Protonotary since March 23, 1921 , Middendorf was appointed official of the Archdiocese of Cologne on October 25, 1926.
