Heinrich Modersohn

Heinrich Modersohn (* 1948 in Hindelang ) is a German painter .

Heinrich Modersohn was born in the Allgäu as the eldest son of the painter Christian Modersohn . Christian Modersohn is in turn the son of the painter Otto Modersohn and Louise Modersohn-Breling . In 1957, Christian Modersohn's family, his wife Anna Lipp and their children moved to Northern Germany. From 1970 to 1976 Heinrich Modersohn studied at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts with Kai Sudeck and Gotthard Graubner . He is represented by the Hamburg Producer Gallery.

Heinrich Modersohn is now in the fourth generation of the Modersohn family of painters. Otto Modersohn was his grandfather.

He lives and works in Hellwege and Berlin .
