Heinrich Simon (soccer player)
Heinrich Simon (born July 14, 1909 , † October 8, 1969 ) was a German football player .
Career
The right winger Henry Simon played for FC Schalke 04 . With the Schalke team he was West German champion in 1930 and reached the quarterfinals of the German championship . At the end of the season, Simon moved to Teutonia Lippstadt after he was declared a professional player because of excessive expenses and was suspended. In 1934 he returned to Schalke as a player. As a soldier , he lost his right leg in World War II . After the end of the war he worked as managing director at FC Schalke 04.
