Heinrich Wallbruch

Heinrich Wallbruch (born August 9, 1904 in Eichlinghofen , † June 27, 1979 ) was a German politician ( SPD ). From 1958 to 1962 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After primary school , Heinrich Wallbruch trained as a miner and then worked in this profession from April 1918 to November 1950. From December 1950 onwards he worked as a union secretary. Wallbruch had been a union member since 1918, and in 1953 he became a member of the executive board of IG Bergbau .

Wallbruch had been a member of the SPD since 1922. In 1952 he was elected to the Witten City Council. In the state elections in 1958, Wallbruch was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament via the SPD's state list, he was a member of parliament from July 21, 1958 to July 20, 1962. During this legislative period, Wallbruch was chairman of the state parliament's investigation committee for mine safety.

From 1958 Wallbruch was the first chairman of the board of the Ruhrknappschaft. He was also a member of the Committee of Producers and Workers for Industrial Safety and Health at the High Authority of the European Coal and Steel Community.
