Heinrich White (robber)

Johann Heinrich Weiss , also Johann Heinrich Weiss (* 1715 ; † March 21, 1787 ) was a German robber captain .

Life

In 1744 Heinrich Weiß acquired the Neuwirtshaus tavern , which later became Linde on today's B 14 in Mainhardt, and with it the rights of a Zoller as well as half of the Waspenhof and half of the Nüßlinshof for a total of 3750 guilders. In 1762 he was elected to the staff court of Böhringsweiler. He himself did not take part in the robberies in person, but acted in the background as a gang leader, thief manager and fence for the robbers from the Mainhardt Forest . In 1772, Weiss was arrested in Möckmühl , Württemberg , and went to court in Böhringsweiler. White was acquitted, he was even given a good report card, and he returned to office and dignity as a judge.
