Heinrich the Vogler (poet)
Heinrich der Vogler was a medieval poet , probably from Tyrol . He edited the heroic epic Dietrichs Flucht around 1275 or 1295/96 , but is probably not its author, but only contributed an excursus against the arbitrariness of the princes. The poet's name only appears in the first poem:
Heinrîch der Vogelelaere spoke and wrote these worthwhile words.
