Heinrich von Bevern

Heinrich von Bevern (* in the 16th century; † March 18, 1608 ) was canon in Münster and cathedral cantor in Osnabrück .

Life

Origin and family

Heinrich von Bevern came from the Westphalian noble family von Bevern and was the son of Johann von Bevern zu Havixbeck and his wife Hilla Schenking zu Bevern. His brother Asswerus was canon in Hildesheim, his sisters Anna, Gerda and Elisabeth were canons .

Act

In 1575 Henry was the canon William of Elverfeldt for Münstersche Dompräbende presented and emancipated on 12 April of the year. On May 29, 1589, he opted for Scholving's obedience and, on August 29, 1593, the archdeaconate Stadtlohn , after the Canon Christoph von Elverfeldt had renounced . Others

After Heinrich's death, his executors donated a statue of Emperor Heinrich II , which was placed in the east transept of Münster Cathedral . Heinrich was buried there too.
