Heinrich von Plettenberg (* in the 16th century; † in the 16th century) was canon in Münster .

Life

Heinrich von Plettenberg came from the Westphalian noble family von Plettenberg , whose name goes back to the ancestral seat at the foot of the Plattberg near the town of Plettenberg . Numerous well-known personalities have emerged from it. He was the son of Dietrich von Plettenberg (1496–1534) and his wife Ida von Ense. In August 1552 he held the office of Turnar and on July 21, 1553 came into the possession of a cathedral priest from Münster . From his uncle, the cathedral scholaster Heinrich von Plettenberg , he received the archdeaconate Altlünen on March 28, 1557 . His uncle Gerhard von Plettenberg was also a canon in Münster.
