Heinrichsfelde (Kyritz)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heinrichsfelde is a residential area in the town of Kyritz in the Ostprignitz-Ruppin district (Brandenburg). A brick factory was built here as early as 1794. In 1846 the brickworks was converted into a free estate and named Heinrichsfelde. Around 1860 the small settlement comprised a Vorwerk, a Chausseehaus and a forester's house with five residential buildings. In 2016 the residential area had 110 inhabitants.

location

Heinrichsfelde is just under four kilometers southeast of the city center of Kyritz and about 3.2 kilometers northwest of Wusterhausen / Dosse. The federal highway 5 from Wusterhausen / Dosse to Kyritz leads directly past the outskirts. The Kyritz airfield is located northwest of the living space .

history

In 1796, a brick factory was laid out on the town of Kyritz. The clay pit was about 500 meters southwest of the brickworks. The settlement is not mentioned separately in the list of localities from 1817. In the local register of 1846, the settlement is only listed as a brickworks establishment (under the town of Kyritz). 62 people lived in three residential buildings. In contrast, the settlement in the Urmes table sheet 3040 Kyritz from 1841 is already referred to as Heinrichsfelde. In 1846 the settlement was converted into a property and officially called Heinrichsfelde (previously Kyritz brickworks ). The estate comprised 600 Cölln acres of barley and oat land. A certain Holtz is given as the owner. In 1846 the new highway cash lever in Heinrichsfelde was also auctioned off to the highest bidder. A forestry department had also been established by 1860. In total there were now five residential buildings and 21 farm buildings in the settlement. Then in 1871 there were six residential buildings. A G. Cochius is mentioned as the owner for 1877 . In 1882 a F. Cochius was named on Heinrichsfelde. In 1884 Cochius was an administrator of Heinrichsfelde. According to the 1885 handbook of real estate in the German Empire , the estate belonged to Friedrich Wilhelm Cochius, district councilor from Deetz. The administrator was Fritz Cochius. A steam distillery, a brickworks and a separator dairy are listed under the heading of industrial plants. The estate also specialized in pig breeding. The area size is given as 271 hectares, of which 248 hectares were arable land, 19 hectares of meadows, 1 hectare of forest and 3 hectares of open land, paths and the homestead. The property tax net income is estimated at 2202 marks.

In 1896 Friedrich Wilhelm Cochius died and Heinrichsfelde belonged to the Cochius heirs (written in the manual: Amtsrath Coshin's heirs ). The property was leased to a Loebsch, Reich judge in Leipzig. The estate was administered by a Roloff. The size is given here as 276.50 hectares, of which 247 hectares are arable land and gardens, 24.60 hectares are meadows, 3.5 hectares of forest and 1.5 hectares of land. Dutch cows and Yorkshire pigs are listed under the heading of breeding special cattle breeds . The industrial plants include the distillery and the brickworks with a ring kiln.

In 1903 it became the property of Friedrich Schulte (born July 27, 1847 in Bremen, + February 28, 1934 in Heinrichsfelde). Otherwise the information is as in 1896. In 1907 the total area had increased slightly to 285 hectares through acquisitions; 250 hectares of arable land, 25 hectares of meadows, 6 hectares of pasture and 4 hectares of woodland. The property tax net income was set at 2250 marks. The steam distillery and the brickworks with a ring kiln are also mentioned.

In 1914 the estate continued to belong to Friedrich Schulte. The size of the estate and the distribution of arable land, meadows, pastures and forests had not changed. The animal population was 31 horses, 90 head of cattle, including 70 dairy cows and 150 pigs. The estate even had a siding.

Friedrich Schulte is also recorded for 1921. Further acquisitions increased the total area to 305 hectares. Of this, 256 hectares were arable land, 35 hectares were meadows, 8 hectares were forest, and 5 hectares were unland , farmsteads, paths etc. and 1 hectare was water. The number of animals was: 34 horses, 90 cattle, including 70 dairy cows and 2 studs, and 24 pigs. The property tax net income was set at 2500 marks.

Under the owner Friedrich Schulte, the total area of the estate was reduced by 15 hectares to 290 hectares in 1929. The area was divided into 234 hectares of arable land, 30 hectares of meadows, 10 hectares of pastures, 15 hectares of forest and 1 hectare of open land, paths and farms. The number of animals had changed only slightly: 30 horses, 90 head of cattle, including 60 dairy cows and 30 pigs. The property tax net income was now set at 2850 marks. Friedrich Schulte, the only son died in 1940. In the land reform of 1946 the property was expropriated and divided. In 1954 the LPG Type III became “8. March “in Kyritz. She ran pig breeding in Heinrichsfelde until 1989.

The forestry department ( Forsthaus Heinrichsfelde ) belonged to the state forestry enterprise Kyritz during the GDR era. The forester's house is now part of the State Forestry Brandenburg Revier Stolpe.

Agricultural pilots were stationed at Heinrichsfelde airfield. In 1995 the Brandenburg Air Service used the Heinrichsfelde airfield. There are several companies on the airfield site.

The Brandenburg State Road Administration maintains the Kyritz road maintenance facility in Heinrichsfelde .

Heinrichsfelde always belonged to the Stadtmark or Stadtgemarkung Kyritz, and never formed an independent administrative unit (manor district). In 1931 it was designated as Kyritz's residence. In 1964 and 1995 it was part of the city of Kyritz. With the administrative reform of 1992 in the state of Brandenburg, the Kyritz office was created , in which seven municipalities and the city of Kyritz had come together to form an administrative community. With the integration of the municipalities belonging to the office into the new (large) municipality of Kyritz and the dissolution of the Kyritz office in 2003, Heinrichsfelde was only designated as a residential area for the city of Kyritz. It does not have its own local political representation.

At the Heinrichsfelde airfield, the Agricultural Flight Association has put together a small exhibition (Agricultural Aviation Museum) on the subject of agricultural flight. The first village festival in Heinrichsfelde in 2016 even received media attention.

manor

The manor house or castle in Heinrichsfelde is not a monument, but is of historical interest. In 2006 the last tenants moved out and it slowly fell into disrepair. It was auctioned in March 2017 and found a new owner who wanted to renovate the manor house. It was sold again at the end of 2019. The buyer Thomas König started the first renovation measures at the beginning of 2020. The house is to be completely renovated and modernized.

annotation

  1. It was not officially named until 1846, and the Chausseehaus or lifting point was also leased for the first time in 1846. It is therefore conceivable that the sheet was only included in 1841, but not published until a few years later, so that the later naming and the Chausseehaus, which was probably built later, could still be included in the map.
  2. The landowner Otto Löther named in the historical local dictionary for 1907 could not be found and does not fit into the ownership sequence of the Heinrichsfelde estate. Friedrich Schulte was able to be fully identified in the handbooks of real estate in Germany and Niekammer's goods address books for the province of Brandenburg, which appeared at short intervals . It was not possible to determine where the information about Otto Löther in the historical local dictionary comes from.
