Heinz Benzenstadler

Heinz Benzenstadler (* 1944 in Linz ) is an Austrian author.

Live and act

After attending elementary and secondary school and the teacher training institute, Benzenstadtler first worked outside Linz as a secondary school teacher, then at a Linz grammar school. After all, he was the head of the music studio. In 1974 he moved to Vienna and began writing. After 15 years, however, he returned to his roots.

In addition to his work as a writer, he holds readings, performs as a cabaret artist and also works for various cultural organizations. Benzenstadler published both non-fiction and youth books, novels and volumes of dialect poetry.
