Heinz Geck

Heinz Geck ( pseudonyms : HW Hart , W. Hart , Hanko de Tolly , born April 13, 1903 in Essen , † after 1990 ) was a German writer .

Life

Heinz Geck lived in Hamburg after returning from British captivity . He was the author of numerous novels for young people and adults as well as radio plays ; his works are mostly set in exotic locations. In addition , Geck translated fiction from English .

His work Im Kampf um die Ruhr (Schneider, Berlin 1939) was placed on the list of literature to be segregated in the Soviet occupation zone after the end of the Second World War .
