Heinz Holling

Heinz Holling (born June 24, 1950 ) is a German psychologist and university professor .

Career

Heinz Holling studied psychology at the University of Würzburg from 1969 (graduated in 1974) and received his doctorate in Berlin in 1980. In 1987 he completed his habilitation at the University of Osnabrück . Since 1993 he has held the chair for statistics and quantitative methods at the University of Münster . In 2011, Holling took on a visiting professorship at the Université Paris Sorbonne and Université Paris Descartes.

His main research interests lie in the fields of optimal design, conjoint analysis , adaptive testing and intelligence . He published several books on the latter topic, in particular on intelligence diagnostics and the promotion of gifted students in school.
