Heinz Kaiser

Heinz Kaiser (* 27. September 1941 in St. Poelten ) is a German politician of the SPD . He was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament until October 19, 2008 .

Life

After graduating from high school, Heinz Kaiser studied to become a teacher in the fields of economics and law, geography and social studies. He graduated with the 1st state examination in 1967 and the 2nd state examination in 1969. Then he worked at the grammar school in Erlenbach am Main . 1974 followed a doctorate at the University of Würzburg with the topic: “ The agricultural evacuations in Mainfranken. Investigation of a cultural landscape change process with special consideration of the political and economic factors that determine it ”. In the documents of the Bavarian Parliament he is listed as a management consultant during his mandate . He received the Bavarian Order of Merit . He is married and has three children.

Political mandate

Heinz Kaiser joined the SPD in 1964 and had been district chairman and member of the Miltenberg district assembly since 1976. His focus in state and local politics is the economy. The then 37-year-old has been a member of the Bavarian State Parliament since October 28, 1978, and from 1992 was Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Economics, Transport and Technology. In April 2006 he moved to the Committee for Federal and European Affairs and also took on the role of economic policy spokesman for his group . He is also the managing director of the Bayern-SPD business club for his party.

Heinz Kaiser is no longer available for the state elections in Bavaria in 2008 . Nevertheless, he said in an interview: I will miss the dialogue between politics and business. Yes, I have to admit it was my dream job. Despite the end in the state parliament , he will continue to work in the district assembly and the district committee. In addition, he will continue to act as chairman of the business club.
