Heinz Kuczera (born June 6, 1935 in Weißwasser ) is a former German ice hockey player .

Career

He played for SG Dynamo Weißwasser from 1955 and was with the team between 1957/58 and 1964/65 several GDR champions . After the 1964/65 season he ended his playing career. In the 1970s he helped out with the Niesky team .

Internationally he played for the national team of the GDR at the world championships from 1957 to 1963 and in the qualifying games in 1960 against the German national team for the 1960 Winter Olympics

Later he was still part of the coaching staff at SG Dynamo Weißwasser at the last GDR championship in 1989/90.
