Heinz Nowy
Heinz Nowy (born September 1, 1941 ) is a former Austrian soccer player and current soccer coach.
Career
Heinz Nowy began his career with Inzersdorf and made his debut in the A-League with the then champions Wiener Sport-Club in the 1959/60 season . As a winger, he replaced the departed Walter Horak and reached the quarter-finals in the European Cup of national champions in his first year . In 1961 he moved to 1. Schwechater SC , where he promptly hit the club's best scorer with 15 hits in the championship.
Until the merger with Vienna Austria in 1966, Heinz Nowy played in Schwechat, but also found a place in the fighting team with the Violets in defense. In 1967 he won the Austrian ÖFB Cup , at the end of his career he also won the Austrian championship in 1969 and 1970 . Ultimately, Heinz Nowy followed up on these successes in the top league for two years, at SC Wacker Vienna and FC Admira / Wacker , before moving to the lower-class favorites AC in 1972 . After his active career he worked as a trainer in the Wiener Unterhaus, among others at Wr. Viktoria, Wolfersberg and Breitensee. In the 2008/2009 season he worked as a trainer at WS Ottakring .
