Heinz Otten (born November 8, 1919 ) was a German football player .

Career

Heinz Otten began his career at Preussen Krefeld and moved to Rot-Weiß Oberhausen in 1939 . With the Oberhausenern he played from 1939 to 1945 in the first-class Gauliga Niederrhein and from 1947 in the first-class Oberliga West . Two years later, Otten moved to league rivals Borussia Dortmund , where he only made sporadic appearances. Therefore, Otten went to STV Horst-Emscher during the winter break of the 1949/50 season , where he was only a reservist. With Horst-Emscher he qualified for the final round of the German championship , where the team failed in the round of 16 against Wormatia Worms . From 1950 he let his career at FC Lübbecke end. Heinz Otten played a total of 46 league games and scored four goals.
