Heinz Pollischansky

Heinz Josef Pollischansky (born July 21, 1937 in Vienna ; † September 21, 1991 in Vienna) was an Austrian publisher and founder of the publishing house of the same name.

He had two children, Eveline Fischer-Pollischansky and Heinz Paul Pollischansky. He started publishing comics in the 1970s and was the only comic book publisher in Austria at the time. His complete edition of Prince Eisenherz , which he was the first German-speaking publisher to publish, was remarkable .

The publishing house is continued by his daughter and is now specialized in philatelic literature.
