Heinz Wirtz (politician)

Heinz Wirtz (born December 25, 1943 in Wattenscheid ) is a German SPD politician .

education and profession

After completing elementary school, Heinz Wirtz attended the IHK commercial school in Bochum from 1958 to 1961. Then he worked as an administrative clerk. From 1968 to 1970 he did an apprenticeship for the higher non-technical administration service at the study institute for municipal administration in Dortmund with the degree as a Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH). From 1985 Wirtz was a senior administrator, in 1990 he resigned from this office according to the North Rhine-Westphalia parliamentary law (AbgG NW).

politics

Heinz Wirtz has been a member of the SPD since 1965. He was chairman of the SPD sub-district of Bochum from 1999 to 2001. From 1990 to 1999 he was chairman of the SPD district of Bochum-Wattenscheid and assessor in the local association. He acted as the local association chairman from 1978 to 1990. Further stations in his political career were: Deputy city district chairman Bochum-Wattenscheid from 1986 to 1990; Deputy company group chairman from 1975 to 1988. He has been a member of ÖTV since April 1958.

From 1990 to 2005, Heinz Wirtz was a directly elected member of the 11th, 12th and 13th Landtag of North Rhine-Westphalia .
