Wirtz played with Fortuna Düsseldorf in the Bundesliga from 1979 to 1981 . He completed 34 games, then moved to the USA . There he played in the North American Soccer League and the Major Indoor Soccer League . His stations were Washington Diplomats , Baltimore Blast and Chicago Sting .
