The front, short flagella points to the side, the rear flagella is long. Both flagella insert in a small pocket. On the underside of the cell surface there is a double row of refractive corpuscles of unknown nature. There is a contractile vacuole in the back of the cell . A small, unbranched pseudopodium can be formed at the rear end , so the cell shape is variable. There are no known cysts of this type.
