Hellcannon is an American death and thrash metal band from Buffalo , New York that was formed in 2009.
history
The band was formed in early 2009 by guitarist and singer Toxik Agressor and bassist Wasteland Fiend. Shortly afterwards, guitarist Karnage and drummer Phantom joined and completed the line-up. In the same year they released the EP The Waste . This brought the band to the attention of Butchered Records , so they signed a contract with this label. In 2010 the debut album Infected With Violence was released on this label .
style
The band plays a technically demanding mix of death and thrash metal, with groups like Sepultura , Obscura , Pig Destroyer and Watain as influences.
