Hellenic Aerospace Industry (HAI) ( Greek Ελληνική Αεροπορική Βιομηχανία Α.Ε. ) is a Greek company in the aviation industry based in Tanagra . In addition to the supply of components and maintenance of various types of aircraft, the company has specialized in the construction of unmanned aircraft.

history

The company was founded in 1975, the development of the unmanned aircraft E1-79 Pegasus began in 1979, and the maiden flight took place in 1982. In 1986 the new Telamon model was presented, and from 1990 the company worked with DASA (today: EADS ). HAI developed the unmanned, independently operating stealth combat drone Neuron with Dassault , EADS, Saab , RUAG and Alenia .
