Knjaževac is a town in the Zaječar district in eastern Serbia and the headquarters of the municipality of the same name .
The highways from Niš to Zaječar and from Pirot to Aleksinac cross in the city . It also has a train station on the Niš – Zaječar regional line. Knjaževac and its Babin Zub ski resort offer numerous tourist attractions. There are many natural camping and picnic areas near the city.
