Neda Arnerić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Неда Арнерић ; born July 15, 1953 in Knjaževac , Yugoslavia ; † January 10, 2020 in Belgrade ) was a Yugoslav or Serbian actress .

Life

Arnerić attended the Ninth Belgrade Grammar School and took part in dance and theater courses in Belgrade while still at school. At the age of 13, she made her screen debut in the 1966 film San . Arnerić studied acting at the Academy for Theater, Film and Television in Belgrade. From 1970 to 1974 she lived and shot abroad and appeared in French and Italian films, among others. In addition to her film appearances, Arnerić was active in various, mostly experimental, theaters and studied art history at the University of Belgrade in the 1980s . Until 1999 she ran her own art gallery in Belgrade.

Neda Arnerić belonged to the Demokratska Stranka . From 2000 she was a member of the Serbian parliament for a short time, but resigned in the wake of a scandal over automatic voting.

For her performance in Uspravi se, Delfin , Arnerić was awarded the Silver Arena of the Pula National Film Festival in 1977 . In addition, she received a Carica Teodora for best actress at the Niš Film Festival in 1978 . In 1988 she won the Golden Arena for her performance in Haloa - praznik kurvi . In 2010 she was awarded the Pavle Vuisić Prize of the Association of Serbian Film Actors for her life's work.
