Gutskapelle St. Antonius
The Catholic Gutskapelle St. Antonius is a listed church building in Drasenbeck , a district of Meschede in the Hochsauerlandkreis ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).
History and architecture
The small plastered building, closed on three sides, was built in the 17th century. It is crowned with a roof turret. The baroque altar with vine columns and lush decor is a work from the end of the 17th century. The high-quality wooden sculptures of the Lamenting Mother of God , of a crucifixion group and of St. Norbert von Xanten were carved in the first quarter of the 16th century. At least the Madonna can be ascribed to Petrus von Kolshusen .
