Balinac ( Cyrillic : Балинац ) is a village in the Opština Knjaževac and in the Okrug Zaječar in eastern Serbia .

Balinac is located on the southern foothills of the Carpathian Mountains , in the southern part of the Timočka Krajina region .

According to the 2002 census (self-named) there were 38 inhabitants. All of them were Serbs .
