Hellesyltfossen
The Hellesyltfossen is a waterfall in Hellesylt in the Norwegian municipality of Stranda in the province of Møre og Romsdal .
It is located at the beginning of the Sunnylvsfjord and actually divides the place Hellesylt into a northern and a southern part. The waterfall is formed by the mountain river Dalaelva , which plunges over granite rocks about 20 meters down into the fjord. Above the waterfall is the Høge bru bridge , below the Hellesylt bro . The amount of water in the fall varies with the seasons and is usually greatest at the beginning of summer after the snowmelts.
The Hellesyltfossen is one of the well-known tourist attractions in the region.
