Hello Saferide is a Swedish indie pop band around singer Annika Norlin, who was born in Östersund on November 22, 1977 .
Band history
Annika Norlin wrote her first songs at the age of eight, but initially embarked on a journalistic career. In 2004, Groover Recordings released the compilation Jeans & Summer 2 in Sweden. The positive feedback she received then helped her to get a record deal. She released various singles and played concerts; Since she didn't have a band of her own at the time, she was initially supported by friends. Finally she released her first album Introducing… Hello Saferide in Sweden in 2005 . She put her band together almost at the same time: Maia Hirasawa (tambourine), Andreas Söderlund (guitar, keyboard), Jens Lagergren (bass) and Fredrik Hultgren (drums). With these she forms the band Hello Saferide from now on ; they compose together, release singles and tour Europe.
In 2007 and 2010 Annika Norlin released an album in Swedish under the band name “Säkert!”.
