Maia Hirasawa (born May 5, 1980 in Sollentuna ) is a Swedish - Japanese musician.

Career

She became famous as a background singer in the band Hello Saferide . After the self-produced song And I Found This Boy was often played on Swedish radio in 2007, she quickly established herself as a solo artist. This success created the basis for their first album Though, I'm Just Me , followed by the single Gothenburg . In the summer of the same year, Hirasawa toured Sweden and played at various music festivals , including the Hultsfred Festival . At the beginning of 2008 the song You and me and everyone we know by T-Mobile Austria was used in a commercial. Her third single The Worrying Kind was released in 2008.
