Helmut Bohnhorst

Helmut Bohnhorst jr. (* 1959 or 1960 ) is a German entrepreneur .

Life

Until 2014, Bohnhorst was the fourth generation owner of Bohnhorst Agrarhandel GmbH , based in Steimbke in Lower Saxony . The company was founded on May 26, 1882 by Bohnhorst's great-great-grandfather Wilhelm Bohnhorst. In February 2013 BayWa AG only took over 60 percent and in September 2014 finally all of the company's shares. It has been trading as BayWa Agrarhandel GmbH since April 1, 2015 .

Bohnhorst has been a fan of Hamburger SV since childhood . On March 20, 2015, he acquired 1.5 percent of the shares in HSV Fußball AG , which operates the club's licensed player department, for four million euros .
