Helmut Gauweiler

Helmut Gauweiler (* 1906 or 1907; † July 1965 ) was a German writer.

Gauweiler appeared in the time of National Socialism as an "active propagandist". The former elementary school teacher was u. a. Gau main office manager of the Rheinpfalz . With the protection of his brother, the NSDAP Reichsleiter Otto Gauweiler , he was sent to the civil administration in Krakow in December 1939, shortly before the impending deployment to the front . After the Second World War he appeared as a regional writer on the Palatinate. Peter Gauweiler is his nephew.
