Helmut Gulich (born January 16, 1961 in Kleinwallstadt ) is a former German football player .

Career

Helmut Gulich played for Eintracht Frankfurt from 1979 . He made his professional debut for Eintracht on September 18, 1982 in the 4-0 away defeat by Bayern Munich . In 1983 he moved to Bayer 05 Uerdingen , where he played the following two seasons. At the end of the season, Bayer celebrated winning the 1985 DFB Cup . Gulich was used in the competition, he was in the squad in the 6-1 first round win against VfB Oldenburg and scored the 5: 1 and 6: 1. In the summer of 1985 Gulich moved to Hannover 96 , but injured himself in preparation. Without playing another competitive game, he had to end his professional career and was disabled.
