Helmut Hirsch (physicist)

Helmut Hirsch (* 1949 in Vienna ) is an Austrian physicist and author .

He was a co-founder and research associate of the Ecology Group - Institute for Ecological Research and Education Hannover eV 1981/82 he was the spokesman for the Working Group on Ecological Research Institutes (AGÖF). He was a lecturer at the University of Marburg .

Hirsch lives near Hanover . As a scientific consultant for nuclear safety, he advises the Austrian federal government and, among other things, Greenpeace . He is married and has four kids.

Since the beginning of 2012 he has been running his office under the name cervus nuclear consulting .
