Helmut Illert
Helmut Illert (born April 23, 1938 ) is a German television journalist .
After Illert, who came from Aachen , had received his doctorate in recent German history, he worked for ZDF . There he commented on broadcasts from the German Bundestag and later worked as a correspondent . From 1985 he reported from Israel , from 1991 he was a special correspondent. He then became editor-in-chief at Phoenix . From 1997 to 2010 he conducted the programs Historical Debates and Historical Events .
Helmut Illert was editor and chairman of the German Singers Association . He lives in Bonn .
