Helmut Josef Wagner

Helmut Josef Wagner (born March 26, 1954 in Berchtesgaden ) is a business graduate and team manager at SG Hoechst Classique.

Childhood, youth, studies

Helmut Wagner graduated from high school and studied business administration from 1974 to 1982 at the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt with a focus on marketing, commercial management, operation research and sociology. He completed his military service from 1973 to 1974 with the Air Force in Erndtebrück.

Working life

From 1982 to 1996 he worked at Hoechst AG , which hived off HiServ GmbH in 1996, which in turn became Triaton GmbH in 2000. Helmut Wagner worked there until 2005, among other things as a SAP partner manager. In 2006 and 2007 he reorganized the SiT e. V. Hofheim. In 2008 he founded his own company sportXmedia sport & event management and turned his hobby football into a profession.

Private life

Helmut Wagner is married. In addition to football, his hobbies include music and theater. In 1987 he founded the SG Hoechst Classique, this old-school football team is one of the most successful in Germany and in 2017 became German over 40 champions in Berlin. The team always plays football for a good cause and has raised over half a million euros since it was founded.

Honors

In May 2009 Helmut Wagner received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for his commitment to SG Hoechst Classique . The donation income of 505,000 euros has so far been donated to a foundation for physically and mentally severely handicapped children. SG Hoechst Classique has been playing for World Vision since 2010.
