Helmut Kupski

Helmut Kupski (born April 7, 1932 in Lindenort , Ortelsburg district , East Prussia ) is a German politician and former member of the state parliament ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending school and a special examination for talented individuals, he completed an apprenticeship for the senior service of general internal administration in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia . From 1955 to 1960 he was employed by the District President of Düsseldorf as a government inspector. In 1960 he moved to the Düsseldorf regional church office as an administrative clerk .

From 1966 to 1971, Kupski was a member of the CDU . He has been a member of the SPD since 1972. He was active in numerous party committees, so u. a. as a member of the SPD sub-district executive committee in Krefeld. He has been a member of the public services, transport and traffic union (today ver.di ) since 1978.

From May 29, 1980 to May 31, 1995, Kupski was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was elected directly in constituency 059 Krefeld II.

From 1967 to 1994 he was a member of the city ​​council of Krefeld .
