Helmut Nause

Helmut Nause (* 1955 ) is a German court president .

Life

After studying and doing his doctorate, Helmut Nause initially worked as a lawyer in Bremen before joining the Hamburg judicial service in 1983. In 1985 he became a judge at the labor court in Hamburg and was there a. a. Member of the Presidium, the Presidential Council of the Hamburg Labor Court and the Judges' Election Committee. In 1999, Helmut Nause was seconded to the Hamburg Regional Labor Court and in 2000 appointed presiding judge at the Regional Labor Court. During that time he was also a member of the presidium and a press judge at the Hamburg Regional Labor Court. In 2003 he returned to the Hamburg Labor Court as President. In 2007, Helmut Nause succeeded the retired Henning Kirsch as President of the Hamburg State Labor Court.

Nause has been President of the German Labor Court Association since 2014 .

He has two children.
