Helmut Riedmeier

Helmut Riedmeier (born May 14, 1944 in Munich ) is a former German bodybuilder . He was Mr. Europe five times and Mr. Universe twice .

life and career

Riedmeier became Mr. Germany in 1964 and 1965 . He lost to Arnold Schwarzenegger as runner-up in the Mr. Europe competition in 1966 . He was a successful photo model in the 1960s and 1970s. At his last public guest appearance at the German Championships in 2006 (at the age of 62), he received a standing ovation.
