Helmut Wicht
Helmut Wicht (* 1958 ) is a German biologist , anatomist and lecturer in anatomy at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt / Main.
In 2004, he was awarded the University Prize for Excellent Teaching from the University of Frankfurt for his unorthodox teaching. This decision was controversial. In addition to his teaching activities, he also gained great popularity through his poems and stories about motorcycling , which he published in newsgroups and in a book. For his contributions to the “Anatomisches Allerlei” weblog on the SciLogs portal, he received the SciLogs Prize in 2008 based on a proposal from Björn Schwentker .
