Heming Shan

The Heming Shan ( Chinese  鹤鸣山 , Pinyin Hèmíng Shān , W.-G. Ho-ming-shan , English Crane Cry Mountain  - "Kranichgesang-Gebirge"), also under the name Huming Shan ( 鹄 鸣 山 , Húmíng Shān ) known, is the place of origin of religious Daoism . It is located in the Heming ( 鹤鸣 乡 ) municipality of Dayi County in the Chengdu sub-provincial city in the Chinese province of Sichuan , about 70 km from Chengdu. During the time of the Eastern Han Dynasty , heaven master Zhang Daoling founded the Taoist school of five bushels of rice ( Wudoumi dao ) here.
