The von Hemleben family , also spelled Hemleiben, Hemeleybin, Hemeleiben, Hemeleyben, Himleiben , were a Thuringian , knightly castle men from the town of the same name, Hemleben south of Heldrungen .

In 1234 they belonged to the vassals of the Counts of Rabenswald .
