Hendrick de Meijer (1620–1689) was a landscape painter of the Dutch Golden Age .

Meijer was born in Rotterdam in 1620 . Nothing is known about his life, except that he had a son named Cornelius , who was also a landscape painter. Hendrick de Meijer is classified as a landscape painter by the Netherlands Institute for Art History (also beach pictures or winter landscapes) and belongs to the " Albert Cuyp School". He is known for his dated work. Including The Departure of Charles II from England from Scheveningen (Het vertrek van Karel II van Engeland uit Scheveninge) or The Conquest of the City of Hulst (De verovering van de stad Hulst) , handed over to the City of Hulst on November 5, 1645.
