Presidential candidate

Mudge ran as a candidate in the 2004 (1.95 percent) and 2009 (1.16 percent) presidential elections and ran again in the 2014 election (0.97 percent). Just under three weeks into the election, Mudge withdrew his candidacy for office in the 2019 presidential election in favor of the independent candidate Panduleni Itula . Since the electoral law does not provide for a withdrawal, his name still appears for the vote and he received 0.5 percent of the vote.
