Hennadij Lytowtschenko ( Ukrainian Генна́дій Володи́мирович Лито́вченко ; born September 11, 1963 in Dniprodzerzhynsk , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Soviet or Ukrainian football player and current football coach.

Lytovchenko began his career in 1975 in the youth team of Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk . Since 1981 he was a regular in the first team and surprisingly won the Soviet championship in 1983 with the team. In 1984 he was voted Soviet Footballer of the Year . Together with Oleh Protasov , the offensive midfielder Lytovchenko was one of the leading players of the then very successful team of "Dnipro", and in 1987 reached the Soviet runner-up with the team.

In 1988 Lytovchenko moved to Dynamo Kiev , with this team he became Soviet champions again in 1990 and cup winners in the same year. In 1990 he moved to Greece to Olympiacos Piraeus and won the Greek Cup with Olympiacos in 1992 . From 1993 he played in Austria for FC Admira Wacker and in the 1995/96 season he came to Chornomorez Odessa for a total of 10 missions in the Ukrainian Wyschtscha Liha .

In the Soviet national team Lytovchenko came to a total of 57 missions in which he scored 14 goals. He took part in the World Championships in 1986 and 1990 and reached the final against the Netherlands at the European Championships in 1988 with the Soviet team. Between 1993 and 1994 he played 4 times for the Ukrainian national soccer team .

Lytovchenko has been a trainer since 1996. From 2002 to 2004 he was responsible for the Ukrainian U-21 national team. In the 2003/04 season Lytovchenko trained metalist Kharkiv . From 2006 to 2010 he was the coach of Dynamo Kiev's second team.
